Job Title: NHS Assistant Baseball Coach Job Description: NHS Assistant Baseball Coach – Newcastle Public Schools Position Overview: Newcastle Public Schools is seeking a high-energy, qualified professional to help lead the Baseball program at Newcastle High School. The Assistant Coach will be responsible for assisting in developing a competitive program, fostering a positive environment for student-athletes, and promoting school spirit. Key Responsibilities Assist in managing aspects of the NHS Baseball program, including practice sessions, game/tournament scheduling, and team travel. Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all student-athletes. Promote teamwork, athletic excellence, and high standards of sportsmanship. Maintain professional conduct in accordance with district policies and represent Newcastle Public Schools positively. Qualifications Relevant experience in baseball coaching or playing at a competitive level. Coaching certification as required by the State of Oklahoma and the Newcastle Board of Education. Ability to also work as a classroom teacher is strongly preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with students, parents, and staff. Ability to pass all required background checks and drug screenings.
