Position Summary:
New Lima Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to join our athletic staff for the 2025-2026 school year. We are looking for a motivated coach who is passionate about developing student-athletes on and off the court. The ideal candidate will lead and assist across multiple grade levels in our boys’ basketball and baseball programs, helping to build a strong foundation of athletic skill, sportsmanship, and character.

Coaching Responsibilities Include:

• Head Coach: 7th/8th Grade Boys Basketball
• Assistant Coach: High School Boys Basketball
• Assistant Coach: High School Baseball
• Physical Education Instructor: 3rd/4th and 5th/6th Grade Boys (PE with a basketball focus)

Qualifications:

• Valid Oklahoma Teaching Certificate (Teaching assignment is flexible based on certification)
• Previous coaching experience strongly preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Passion for mentoring student-athletes
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and the community
• CDL or willingness to obtain (preferred)
