My name is Mark Murphy, and I currently reside in Norman, Oklahoma with my wife and four daughters. As a certified strength and conditioning
specialist and sports nutrition expert, I have dedicated over a decade to developing athletes at the high school level across New Mexico,
Colorado, Texas, and Oklahoma. Along the way, I’ve also coached defensive linemen in both Colorado and Oklahoma, helping players
maximize their physical potential. 
  Throughout my career, I have worked with top-tier talent, sending athletes on full-ride scholarships to Division I and Division II programs, including Michigan, Miami (OH), Columbia, CSU, CSU-Pueblo, and the Air Force Academy. My experience spans not only coaching but also
collaborating with school administrations and collegiate athletic performance programs.
  Education has been a cornerstone of my journey. In May 2023, I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Abilene Christian University with a
degree in Health and Human Performance, and I recently completed my master's in education at the University of Oklahoma, specializing in
Intercollegiate Athletic Administration, earning a 3.88 GPA.
  I firmly believe that every high school and college should have a dedicated strength coach—just as they do athletic trainers. Schools
that prioritize strength and conditioning see success across all sports, not just football, fostering a thriving athletic department. If you
already have a strength coach, perhaps adding an assistant could be beneficial—dividing responsibilities would enhance efficiency,
allowing more focus on critical programs like football.
