Bishop Kelley High School in Tulsa is seeking an Assistant Boys Wrestling Coach for the 2026–27 season.

We are looking for a dependable, energetic coach who wants to be actively involved in developing high school wrestlers and helping grow our program.

Our greatest need is an assistant who can consistently be available for afternoon practices and competitions. Candidates should be able to commit to either our morning or afternoon practice schedule and be available for a meaningful portion of the team’s dual and tournament schedule.

Priority will be given to candidates who can regularly attend afternoon practices and competitions. The ideal candidate would also have availability to assist with morning strength and wrestling sessions.

Coaching responsibilities may include:
• Afternoon wrestling practices during the season
• Varsity, JV and developmental duals and tournaments
• Tuesday/Thursday competition travel and Friday/Saturday events
• Technique instruction, drilling, live wrestling and individual athlete development
• Morning strength and wrestling sessions beginning at 6:00 AM, depending on availability

Bishop Kelley currently has two assistant wrestling stipends available, allowing flexibility in structuring responsibilities around the right candidate or candidates. A larger role may be considered for an individual able to make a significant commitment to the program.

Additional paid coaching opportunities may also be available through Team Tulsa Wrestling Club, which operates out of the Bishop Kelley wrestling facility and provides year-round youth and advanced wrestling opportunities.

Previous wrestling experience is strongly preferred. College wrestling experience is a plus but is not required for the right candidate.

Candidates must be able to complete all Bishop Kelley/Catholic Diocese employment and safe-environment requirements.
