CHAD GILBERT
About
I graduated from Sulphur High School in May 1995. I attended East Central University from 1995-1999 where I obtained a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and a minor in History. My first job was teaching/coaching in the Garland Independent School District (Garland, Texas). I then came back across the Red River in 2000 and took a teaching/coaching position at Skiatook. I have been on multiple coaching staffs including Skiatook, Hobart, Clinton, Sulphur, and Marlow. I have had the opportunity to teach and coach in some very good school districts and great communities throughout the state of Oklahoma. I currently live in Marlow, Oklahoma with my wife, Misty. We have four boys. I am thankful I have been able to share the sidelines with my boys, Jace, Cade, Clete and Jett. I look forward to serving Region 5 and the OCA for the next two years as a board member.
